How it is built
Forward-deployed engineering: engineers sit with the project and apply the tools to the decision in front of the client.
Frequently asked questions
What is FDE (forward-deployed engineering)?
FDE means engineers work inside the client's real working environment. They define the problem with the client, deliver a system that works in the actual process, and turn what they learn on site into capability that can be reused. Palantir's official documentation describes it as a product development method.
How is FDE different from consulting or systems integration?
The difference is responsibility. An FDE team builds a working system for the client's problem and is accountable for it actually being used in the process. Consultants and systems integrators focus more on process change and on connecting systems. In practice the two are often delivered together.
Can I use the CiphTage war room today?
Not yet. It is still being built. This site does not describe features that are not live as live.
How is it priced?
